1. Create your account
- Tap “Create free account” and sign up with your email or Google.
- If you used email, open the confirmation email and tap the link.
- Go to your profile (your picture, top right) and add your name and a face photo so friends recognize you.
2. Put it on your phone's home screen
- iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”.
- Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu, then “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
- It opens full-screen with the golfer logo, just like an app.
3. Your personal code
- Everyone gets one unique code, like BIRDIE-7K2Q. You'll find it on your home screen and profile.
- The same code does two things: friends use it to join your crew, and anyone can use it to watch you play live.
- If you shared it with the wrong person, tap “New code” on your profile. The old code stops working right away.
4. Invite friends to your crew
- Tap “Share” next to your code to text or message it, or tap the copy button.
- Your friend signs up, opens “Crew”, types your code and taps “Join”.
- Once you're in the same crew you can see each other's rounds, live scores and stats.
- To join a friend's crew, ask for their code and enter it the same way.
5. Let people watch you play
- Send your watch link (the “Share” button includes it) to family or anyone following along.
- They don't need an account: they can open the link, or type your code on the home page and tap “Watch”.
- Scores refresh by themselves while you play. They'll see you and your crew's rounds from today.
6. Add a course from a scorecard photo
- Open “Courses”, then “Add course”, and take a clear, flat photo of the scorecard (or pick a screenshot).
- Wait a few seconds while it reads the course name, tees, pars, yardages and handicaps.
- Check every number, fix anything wrong, then save. The photo is kept on your account.
- New courses are available to you and your crew right away. Once an admin checks them, they're added to the list for every player.
- You can also type a course in by hand.
7. Play a round
- Tap “Play”, pick the course and your tee, then start.
- On each hole enter your score, putts, fairway (hit or which way you missed, including bunkers) and whether you hit the green.
- Everything saves as you go. With no signal, scores are kept on your phone (it says “No signal — saved on phone”) and upload by themselves when signal comes back. Keep the app open or reopen it once you have signal.
- When you're finished, tap “Finish & post round”. It moves out of live and into your history and stats.
8. Stats and records
- “Stats” shows averages, best rounds, fairways, greens, putts, birdies and the scoring breakdown, for 18 holes, 9 holes or a single course.
- Pick a course to see hole-by-hole averages and which holes are hardest for you.
- You can look at anyone in your crew's stats too.
Privacy
- Only people in your crew can see your profile, photo and rounds.
- People with your code or watch link can see your name, photo and today's scores, nothing else.
- To leave a crew, open “Crew” and tap “Leave”. Crew owners can remove members.
